Melching Field at Conrad Park
Melching Field at
Conrad Park will provide a showcase
for the City of DeLand and the Stetson University Hatters baseball team
for
generations to come. The playing field has been constructed to
intercollegiate
specifications. The complex was designed to complement the
character
of many buildings in DeLand and on the Stetson campus. It was
constructed
of reinforced concrete and contains 12,000 square feet of locker rooms,
offices,
press boxes, special event rooms, and public areas for concessions and
restrooms.
The 2,000-seat facility represents the cooperative effort of the City
of
DeLand, Stetson University, and the entire community.
This playing field represents just one of the many athletic facilities successfully designed by
Dickens
& Associates!
